( KH RE:CODED GAMEPLAY LOG PT II - from wonderland to the very beginning of agrabah - adventures in capslock and several gifs under the cut. please watch your step; my gray matter is splattered all over the place. also this game is fucking precious. )
aaaand this seems like a good place to stop for tonight. :D thoughts!
I am… really liking this game so far. I got it fully intending not to appreciate it for its merits as a game, but… I can't help but have fun with this game. This seems to be shaping up to be, so far, a game of throwaway ideas and half finished plotlines, stacked up on top of each other and served as a layer cake. And it's surprisingly palatable! It really appeals to me as a gamer and a person; not only did the team expand into genres that they haven't really experimented with yet, like side scrollers and rail shooters, they've also timed each level so an ADD player like me doesn't lose interest in the mechanics of the new level. It's fresh every time, and i can really dig my teeth into that. It's slowly but surely usurping my beloved CoM's spot as the KH game with the most interesting gameplay, that's for sure. Plus, it's fun! Sometimes it controls like shit, but it's definitely worth a play. AND. And. The writing and acting in this game is just fucking stellar. I simply cannot get enough of how well written the KH games seem to be lately; they've got a really dedicated writing/localization team over there, and it shows. The conversations are bright and lively and witty, and it really helps carry the tone of the game. It seems like everyone on every side of the board had fun making this game, and even though it's a little messy in presentation… well, I don't mind a bit of messy. :D
OKAY CRASHING. If I could finish this game by tomorrow, that would be swell. :D |

Terra's mode is all done (again… sob, MY FUCKING CURAGAS, MINE), so naturally, SAVE DATA GET!!!!!! 8DD… which i will not play until I beat Ven's mode on proud. Or if I get sick of trying to beat Ven's mode, sob. I WANT THAT SECRET ENDING DAMMIT. sob… so. here we are. the very last bbs update.
( THIS IS IT, MICHAEL JACKSON STYLE - PT XVI: The Last Update! The final episode and all subsequent cutscenes thereof, including Blank Notes. My heart gets torn out, Aqua is a real person, and TALL ORDERS ARE HAD. i spam 'oh god what is even going on' like a thousand times. I am very excited for the future. Also, this is horrendous. D| )
